Title and AbstractSelf-Programming Networks: Architecture and Algorithms BioBalaji Prabhakar is VMWare Founders Professor of Computer Science and faculty member in the departments of electrical engineering and computer science at Stanford. He’s interested in cloud computing platforms and data center networks, and leads the Self-Programming Networks research group at Stanford with Mendel Rosenblum. He’s also worked on Societal Networks, developing “nudge engines” and big data platforms for transportation systems, wellness programs and corporate learning. He is a Fellow of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, IEEE and ACM. He has received the NSF CAREER award, the Erlang Prize, the Rollo Davidson Prize, and delivered the Lunteren Lectures. He is the inaugural recipient of the IEEE Innovation in Societal Infrastructure Award which recognizes "significant technological achievements and contributions to the establishment, development and proliferation of innovative societal infrastructure systems”. |
