Title and Abstract

Structured Codes in Multi-user Communication Networks
We discuss applications of structured codes in multi-user communication networks. We show that a generalisation of the so-called compute-and-forward scheme permits a novel multiple access technique with low decoding complexity. We also discuss the typical sumset of linearlattice codes, a novel notion which turns out to be important for our understanding on coding for computations with linearlattice codes. The results offer valuable insights to the strength and weakness of structured codes in multi-user networks.
